Objective: To evaluate current situation of city maternity homes and identify the further priority issues related to maternity services.
Materials: Annual statistic data of three maternity homes for last 5-10 years was analyzed for further priorities.
Study methods: The Winters Method Plot was used for evaluation of quantitative and qualitative indicators whereas Double Exponential Smoothing Plot method was used for infant mortality trends of maternity homes retrospectivley.
Results:According to our estimation, for the next 10 years or in year 2016, total number of deliveries will increase up to 7067.79-10063.6; c-section 44.8883-50.9117 and infant mortality 9.61770-11.6495.
Conclusion: For next 10 years, the total number of deliveries tends to increase and decrease the neonatal mortality but but c-section rate will be increased up to 44-50% in the further.
