Objective: To evaluate the clinical findings and prognosis of intracranial hemorrhage in childrin aged from 28 weeks to three months old.
Study designs: This is a retrospective study.
Materials and methods: Study subjects were medical records of 28 infant childrin with intracranial hemorrhage aged 28 weeks – 3 months old and 9 newborns, who died from above conditions with similar ages.
Results: According the results of this study; the most common clinical sign was found hemorrhagic symptoms such as bloot shot ober the palate 12(37.5%) ,bloody stools10(31.3%) and bleeding from injections 12(37.5%). The blood test had showed that the reduced number of platelets in 41.6% cases and increased duration of bleeding in 60% of cases
Conclusion: The intracranial hemorrhage is common clinical findings among infant childrin aged 28 weeks -3 months old but the causes still not clear. Therefore, further studies are needed to identify main causes of thic pathologic condition.
