EFFECT OF SHINAR-8 ON COLLAGEN-INDUCED RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS IN MICE

Абстракт
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease that leads to the
destruction of articular cartilage and ankylosis of the joints. Traditional drug Shinar-8 is
made from 8 components including Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch., Tribulus terrestric,
Iris tenuifolia, Thlaspi arvense, Ribes diacanthum Pall., Ephedra Przewalskii Stapf.,
Rosa acicularis Lindl., and Cynara scolymus L.
Objectives: The effect of Shinar-8 on mice rheumatoid arthritis model induced by
collagen was examined.
Methods and Materials: Laboratory tests and histopathological analysis were carried
out 35, 49, and 63 days after collagen injection or 14, 28, and 42 days after Shinar-8
treatment.
