Абстракт
Objective: Аim of this research is to assess the job function and workplace
workload of traditional medical doctors
Methods: The research was done to investigate the workload and work place
activities of doctors who work at third and second level hospitals and private
hospitals of the Ulaanbaatar city using method of chronometric identify. Information
processing was performed by Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft Word, and SPSS- 16
statistical program.
Results: In the survey were involved 18 traditional medical doctors, of which
88.9 % refers to female and 11.1 % to male. The results show that the main duties
or 62.8-70.1 % of work of those doctors were consulting the patients, putting
the diagnosis, doing treatment and paperwork. From 6.4 to 7.3 % of their work
were not indicated in their job description and some duties such as public health
activities, office meeting, awareness training and transferring the patients were
not daily, but performed several times in a week.
Conclusions: Therefore, it is essential to include the detailed activities in job
description of traditional medical doctors, reduce their paperwork, provide more
time to service the clients and improve their knowledge and skill.
