One hundred and ninety one /43.6%/ patients received von Langenbeck palatoplasty, fifty two /11.9%/ patients received Furlow palatoplasty, eight /1.9%/ patients received Veau palatoplasty and one hundred and eighty seven patients /42.7%/  received palatoplasty by new modification, which was innovated with us in 2000. The healing of the wounds was 94.1% in the group, which received palatoplasty by our new modification, von Langenbeck palatoplasty-76.9%, Furlow palatoplasty-55.7% and Veau palatoplasty-62.5%. It is shown same result with results of foreigh researchers. The time of the operation was 70 minutes for new modification, the average 110 minutes of other methods. The hospitalized days for new modification was 7,4 in average, 11,4-15,5 days for other methods.

Conclusion: The most (86.9%) of children with congenital cleft of palate were repiared in the late age, than suggested by specialists. In this study, there was a better wound healing outcome after palatoplasty by new modification, than von Langenbeck, Furlow and Veau palatoplasty.
